Hello and welcome to my craft blog. I am an independent consultant for Close To My Heart. The whole purpose of this blog is to share the many wonderful things I have learned about paper crafting with Close To My Heart with anyone who wishes to learn. Hand made greeting cards will be the focus while I am getting this up and running and learning how to blog.

Napkin Fold Card
I just love this card. All paper, inks, and stamps are Close To My Heart. I used Lagoon and Vanilla Cream card stock, Bliss level 2 paper pack, and Trellis stamp set. The border punch is from Martha Stewart and the center die cut is Spellbinders. Please feel free to leave a comment. The tutorial for this card is at http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/napkinfoldcard/

Origami Flower Picture Tutorial
This first tutorial is a fairly simple flower that can easily be used on cards and scrapbook pages.
Completed flower using CTMH Wings paper.
Cut/Punch 6 circles the same size.
Cut 1 a little smaller out of scrap paper, this one will not show
Fold each circle in half.
Fold each side into the center as shown.
Add adhesive to scrap circle to use as base of flower.
I used a mini Xyron here.
Place each of the 6 folded circles on the scrap circle.
Add brad, button, or other center embellishment to the center of the flower.
This is the card I made using the flower.
Supplies used are Wings paper, Dimensional element, Sweet leaf brad. All Products are Close To My Heart except I used a Spellbinders die cut under the flower.
